在称述句后加上一个意思与之相反的简短问句，这种句子叫反意疑问句, 表示说话人对所陈述的事情不肯定，想通过对方的回答来判断。 构成分为两类：

（1）前一部分为肯定式，后一部分为否定式。

（2）前一部分为否定式，后一部分为肯定式。两部分的时态要一致。
对于第一种句型的回答与一般疑问句的回答方式一样。对于第二种句型的回答方法则同中文表达方法不同，关于回答 "Yes"，还是 "No" ,英语取决于后面的答句是肯定还是否定，后面的答句是肯定的句子，选用 "Yes" ,后面的答句是否定的句子，
